Apollo Bay Foreshore Rotunda furniture replacement

You may have noticed that the tables and chairs at the Apollo Bay Foreshore Rotunda have deteriorated and require replacement.

We will be installing temporary furniture so the community can continue to enjoy the area safely. 

We look forward to working with the community to establish a longer-term preferred foreshore furniture appearance that you will enjoy and that reflect the three specific principles outlined in the Community Infrastructure Plan (CIP):

· Furniture including BBQ’s, bollards, seating, picnic tables and picnic shelters should be functional and utilise simple forms and natural materials.

· Furniture should utilise inclusive design principles to ensure maximum accessibility by all people.

· The design of furniture should be consistent in style and form.

The installed temporary furniture will be slightly smaller than what is currently on the foreshore, with an indicative image provided below.
