Ice cream vendors chosen for key beachfront sites in Torquay

Ice cream lovers have even more reasons to celebrate with two ice cream vendors selected to operate from key beachfront sites on the Surf Coast.

The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority recently ran an Expression of Interest process for mobile food vans to operate from either Cosy Corner or Elephant Walk in Torquay.

Ensuring the Surf Coast remains a culinary destination, the Authority encouraged the region’s best food trucks to apply.

Following the competitive process, Geelong Mobile Ice Cream has been selected to operate from Cosy Corner and Mr Soft Serve and Gelato will operate from Elephant Walk.

Licences have been awarded to the successful applicants for a period of up to three years. Vendors can operate from the two locations seasonally from 1 September to 30 April each year.
