We acknowledge this is a challenging time for many people in our community, following the culmination of the referendum decision.

Our Act, values, and principles enshrine our ongoing commitment to shared actions that deliver Aboriginal inclusion, intergenerational equity, self-determination and enable the fulfilment of First People’s rights. These are important concepts that guide our work.

We recognise the contributions that Rights Holders make to the diversity and richness of our communities and believe the Cultural values, knowledge, practices and heritage of our First Peoples should be acknowledged, respected, protected and promoted.

As we walk with our Rights Holders and the broader community, we are committed to building a stronger future together.
