Arborists and Rangers from Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority have finished tree works in Taylor Park to remove several identified high-risk trees to improve park safety.
Paths, facilities and open spaces are now re-opened for public use.
We would like to remind people that bushland areas are managed for conservation and for their own safety, we recommend that people use the defined pathways and lawn areas.
People will also notice that some trees have been re-purposed into seats and garden edges, and other logs have been left on the ground to become habitat as they naturally break down.
We thank the community for your patience during the temporarily closure and hope you enjoy the improvements in Taylor Park.
